Skilled Group received three important orders from a world leader, producer of personal care products, for palletising systems to be installed in Australia and in the United Kingdom.

The customer has a long tradition of developing and producing personal care products. The Skilled robots have to handle packs of many different sizes and types (i.e. cartons and shrink-wrapped trays containing bottles), on lines with speed up to 40 packs/minute, with many different pallet patterns possibilities and slip-sheet application. Skilled Group has supplied a total of 7 robots: standard solutions for Australia and special customised applications for the U.K. Besides the robots, Skilled Group has supplied shuttle-car on rails for the automation of empty and full pallets and has integrated an automatic stretch-wrapping machine in the system. In addition, two robots have been designed with a special height of 2,5 mt, in order to solve a specific space problem.

These systems are highly reliable and guarantee their performance through a 3-shifts/7-days operation. The systems are based on the CE regulations and supplied according to the ISO 9001 Quality Certification procedures. The customer “turn-key” projects enjoy the most advanced Skilled Group technology and engineering design; some software, electronic and mechanical solutions are tailored on specific project needs making this high-speed installations really unique.
